Privacy Policy

Zoro Cal ("the App") is operated by AUSNZ Tech, Suite 4, Level 7, 253–261 Queen Street, Auckland 1010, New Zealand.

1. No Data Collection

Zoro Cal does not collect, transmit, or store any personal data on external servers. All data remains entirely on your device.

2. Location Access

The App requests access to your device location solely to calculate local sunrise and sunset times. These times are used to determine the 6 Gah (sacred time) periods displayed in your calendar and to schedule your daily notifications. Location data obtained via GPS is processed entirely on your device and is never transmitted to any external service.

If you deny location permission, the App offers the option to enter a city name manually. In this case, the App contacts the following third-party services to resolve the city's coordinates and timezone:

• OpenStreetMap Nominatim — to convert the city name into geographic coordinates (latitude and longitude), and to display the resolved city name. Only the city name or coordinates are sent; no personal identifiers are included. See OpenStreetMap's Privacy Policy.
• TimeAPI.io — to determine the timezone of the entered city using its coordinates. Only latitude and longitude are sent. See TimeAPI.io.

These requests are made only when you manually enter a city name. No data from these services is stored externally or shared further.

3. Personal Events

Any personal events or reminders you create in the App are stored locally on your device only. We have no access to this information.

4. Notifications

The App uses local notifications to deliver daily Zoroastrian calendar reminders. No data is transmitted to external servers to deliver these notifications.

5. Third-Party Services

Zoro Cal contains no analytics, advertising SDKs, or tracking tools. The only external services the App communicates with are:

• Expo Updates — On launch, the App may connect to Expo's servers to check for app updates. No personal data is transmitted during this process. See Expo's Privacy Policy.
• OpenStreetMap Nominatim and TimeAPI.io — Used only when a city is manually entered (see Section 2 above).

6. No Account Required

Zoro Cal does not require you to create an account. The App is fully usable without any registration or login.

7. Children's Privacy

Our App does not knowingly collect any information from children under 13. If you believe your child has provided information through the App, please contact us and we will address it promptly.

8. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Any changes will be posted at this URL with an updated effective date. We encourage you to review this page periodically.
